Overview
Axionyx is a mid-sized e-commerce brand processing over 3,000 orders every month. Strong revenue growth had turned their operations team into the bottleneck — most of their week consumed by manual tasks that only existed because their systems didn't talk to each other.
Headcount was increasing but margins weren't moving. They came to us not knowing exactly what needed fixing, only that hiring more people into a broken process wasn't the answer.
Challenges
Every new order triggered a chain of manual steps across four disconnected tools. A single order required up to 11 touchpoints before it was fully processed — and errors at any one of them cascaded downstream.
Response times were slow, mistakes were frequent, and the team was burning out on work that added zero strategic value. None of it was complicated. It was just relentless, repetitive, and entirely avoidable.
